I was with my friend in Karjat and mentioned that it would be great to know someone who had a flat there so we could spend some quality time. After dropping her home, I returned to my place, and around 3:00 AM the idea suddenly came to my mind. I woke up and started drawing the prototype. While working on it, I realized a major market gap—many people’s homes remain empty when people go to work or travel for short periods, leaving those homes unused, while at the same time many people are searching for short-term stays. This led to the core idea of creating a bridge where homeowners can list their empty homes flexibly, unlist them whenever they return, and list them again whenever they want. Our goal is to create millions of connections between homeowners and people looking for short stays. In the long run, we aim to scale this idea and eventually sell it to a big brand, and personally, I would like to sell it to OYO, as it could make the app even more powerful and perfect.
